Summary and Analysis
In June 2022, the New Directions in the Study of Alcohol Group (NDSAG) sponsored an in-person conference at the London South Bank University. As per its website, “the New Directions in the Study of Alcohol Group (NDSAG) is concerned with alcohol use and problems and it’s treatment. Its aim is to promote a better understanding of these topics. The Group is mainly a forum for debate; where anybody concerned with helping people with drinking problems is encouraged to exchange ideas, share results and learn about new developments in the field.”
The Addiction Theory Network presented a symposium titled Evaluating the brain disease model of addiction. For the full list of presentations see the NDSAG conference page.
